•  I recommend using a controller to play
• Use the handbrake button to drift and turn sharply (See controls menu in game)
•  Earn score by finishing races, exploring and driving fast or drifting
• Use your score to get new cars, wheels or paintjobs (See garage menu)
• Set your best time on the online leader-boards (See race menu)

If there's something you don't like, maybe you can change it in the options menu.  make sure you are running the latest version of the game.
